My Thank You Card

The thank you card:
The thank you card that I made was for a friend. He was the one who helped me when I thought I couldn't trust noone.
Since I am not good at writing letters, I wrote a poem instead. The poem was about appreciating the good things that he had done to me. I consider him as my big brother.
I was happy when I gave him the card because I was not able to thank him before.

How I made it:
All the tutorials in Youtube were too hard or too simple to make. It didn't give me quite the challenge that I wanted to have. I made my own way of doing a pop up card with the help of my sister. She told me how to make the butterfly pop out and the rest was up to me. I was inspired that time by a garden that I saw on television. And that is why I cut out vine borders that I found and made it 3D-like.

The butterfly:
I folded a short bond paper into half and cut 1-2 inches from it so the pop out will not be too big. I folded the part that I cut and stuck the butterfly using glue.

The vine borders:
I took a strip of paper and folded it four times. The last fold had an extra part so I can use it to glue that piece to the rest. Then I stuck it to the underside of the vine borders.
